I am currently working with a large well known sub-contractor within the construction industry who is on the lookout for a driven M&E Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis to join their team who will be working on a project in West London.

This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who is looking to further their career as an M&E QS working on large commercial and data centre projects within the UK.

The company

The client that I am representing is a large family feel sub-contractor who are currently turning over around £350M per annum. Their projects value around the £20M mark however they have recently won a Data Centre project based in West London which alone will be over £150M.

Job Specification:

• Liaising with the client and different departments.

• Assisting on VO's

• Communicating clearly and confidently to a professional standard

• Assisting the Commercial manager or lead on the project.

• Advise project management on some contractual implications of intended course of actions.

• Provide fast, accurate, competitive and profitable estimates.

• Forecast and monitor cash flow to ensure a positive cash flow is maintained, liaising with the client's financial team.

Personal Specification:

• Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying.

• Experience working on Data Centre's.

• Background in M&E.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Confidence to communicate in a professional manor with clients and other departments.
