A global Manufacturer based in Liverpool are recruiting for a career driven Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their expanding business. This is a great opportunity for a motivated Multi Skilled Engineer looking to gain career development and progression opportunities!

THE ROLE:

As a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will report directly into the Head of Engineering and will be responsible for the delivery of all Planned, Preventative, Predictive and Reactive maintenance through a developed Asset Care strategy for the area.

Some key responsibilities for the Maintenance Engineer include:

• Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by undertaking preventive and reactive maintenance activities
• Understanding the design and operation of equipment by pro-active familiarisation. Reading and correctly interpreting engineering specifications, design drawings, operations manuals & manufacturer's instructions
• Problem solving- Identifying incorrect equipment operation and locating sources of error. Observing equipment in operation and by selecting and using appropriate test and measurement instruments.
• Making running adjustments to parts of devices and control instruments to ensure correct function
• Undertaking repairs to defective parts, in-situ or remotely in a workshop setting.

THE PERSON:

The ideal Maintenance Engineer will be looking for a challenging role within an established organisation.

Essentials for this role are as follows

• HNC (or above) in mechanical/electrical engineering
• Multi Skilled maintenance engineering experience
• Background working in a fast paced manufacturing environment
• Practical knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical/electronic motion control systems would be advantageous
