Maintenance Manager, £60,000 & Ex Benefits

Birmingham

We are currently looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager for a Tier 1 Automotive Company based in Birmingham.

The Role

Reporting to the Plant Manager you will be responsible for the following;

  • Designing maintenance programs

  • Researching for new equipment

  • Implementing preventative maintenance programs

  • Adhering to safety regulations

  • Enforcing industry requirements

  • Assessing risks

  • Managing expenditure and budgets

  • Development, management of TPM system

  • Create & manage the budget and capex for department

  • Disciplinary activities as and when required

  • Manage & control the department personnel (sickness, absenteeism, accidents/incidents etc)

  • Monthly KPI's & participate in Management meetings

The Person

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • 3+ years minimum Maintenance Management experience

  • Electrical or mechanical bias preferably multi skilled

  • high volume automotive environment

  • Hydraulic & Pneumatics, PLCs

  • 5+ years working within process engineering disciplines

  • Managing budgets

  • manufacturing principles & processes experience

  • tooling management

  • Customer & Plant base SHEQ requirement

  • Managing capital projects from conception to commissioning and completion

  • track record in delivering maintenance reliability and improving engineering standards
