Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Supervisor

Oxfordshire

3 Month Initial Contract

£Negotiable Rates

We are currently looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer / Supervisor to take on an initial 3 month assignment at our customers manufacturing plant in the Oxfordshire area.

THE ROLE:

The successful candidate will split their time between the plant control room and the site itself with responsibility for the following:

  • Daily system critical points checks

  • Engine (CHP) Fault Alarm escalation to the company hotline

  • Downtime monitoring and reporting of the two plant engines (CHP)

  • Supervision of sub-contractors when attending site for either scheduled maintenance activities or reactive repairs

  • System logic fault diagnostics via the clients management system

  • Trend data analysis for operational understanding with a view to optimisation of the control.

  • Basic checks on the heat exchanger valve assembly

  • Performing regular oil and coolant level checks

THE PERSON:

Based out of the Oxfordshire based plant, the ideal Maintenance Engineer / Supervisor will have the following skills and experience:

  • Mechanical background

  • Experience scheduling and supervising maintenance repairs

  • Experience working with generators

  • PC literate

  • It would be a bonus if you have worked on a CHP plant previously (this is not essential)

There is a strong possibility of more work beyond the end of the initial contract either on an interim or permanent basis.
