I am currently looking to speak to Senior Quantity Surveyors who are looking to progress into a Managing Quantity Surveyor role or for Managing Quantity Surveyors who are looking for a new challenge working for a market leading construction business.

The client is a market leader. Well known for delivering successful large scale civil projects across the UK. This is a tier one contractor who have an excellent reputation and can offer fantastic career opportunities and progression for the successful applicant coming into the Managing Quantity Surveying role.

Job Role:

• Business Leadership.

• Tendering and Pre-Contract Activities.

• Start-up of new projects.

• Procurement- Carry out subcontract procurement in accordance with the procurement timetable.

• Cost control.

• Change control.

• Subcontract administration.

• Accounting and reporting.

• Project competition.

Personal Specification:

• Degree or equivalent in Construction.

• Experience working as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Managing Quantity Surveyor.

• Strong communication skills and being able to communicate and negotiate with clients on a professional level.

• Experience working on civil project.

• Preconstruction experience (desirable)
