Manufacturing Engineer - Aerospace
6 month contract
£Rate - negotiable based on exp.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the manufacturing engineer will be responsible for maintaining and improving current methods of manufacture and introducing new methods, working with shop floor staff, conducting RCA and documentation alongside this. They will also ensure all manufacturing is completed to the required specification, quality, timescale, cost etc.
Using Problem Solving tools such as RCA, 8D etc.
Validation of corrective actions
Ensuring compliance to process and quality standards
Balancing both shop floor, hands on duties with documentation etc. and desk duties
High skilled problem solver; RCA, 8D, 5Y etc.
Sheet metal & fabrications experience essential
Ability to interpret technical drawings
Aerospace experience desirable but not essential
Based in the North East, the company supplies into the Aerospace industry, working with several major OEM's. They require skilled interim manufacturing engineers on a 6 month contract to help drive the business forward during this exciting period.
