Data Centre Project - Sweden

Package - €5500-€5800 NET per month + solo accomodation + flights + 10/4 rotation + car pool + pension + private health care + €12,000 annual bonus

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to join our team for a large-scale data centre project in Sweden. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical aspects of the project, ensuring that all construction work is carried out to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise the mechanical construction team, ensuring that all work is carried out to the required standards and specifications.

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and standards, and implement appropriate safety procedures and measures.

  • Coordinate with the project team to ensure that all mechanical work is integrated effectively with other elements of the construction project.

  • Review and approve mechanical design and engineering plans, and liaise with the design team to ensure that all requirements are met.

  • Manage the procurement and delivery of mechanical equipment and materials, ensuring that all deliveries are made on time and within budget.

  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying any issues or delays and working with the project team to implement solutions.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical construction management on large-scale construction projects, preferably with experience in data centre construction.

  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment, including HVAC, piping, and fire protection systems.

  • Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and standards.

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in managing and supervising teams.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.

  • Right to work in Sweden
