The Role

The Design engineer will be a integral member of the existing team and will be supporting key projects for the business. Key duties will include;

• Develop key products in-line with the companies product roadmap.
• Capture and interpret product requirements and design challenges
• Create innovative designs for new products
• Support build of early prototypes in-house and test and iterate
• Identify limitations of existing products and enhance
• Task and manage precision engineering companies
• Transition R&D products into manufacturing

The Person

The ideal Design Engineer will be career driven and highly motivated. Key criteria required for the role will be:

• 3 years+ Design Engineering experience

• Experienced within engineering or manufacturing environments

• Have a positive can do attitude

• Be capable of working from engineering brief as well as arrangement models

• Capable of presenting engineering solutions to the wider team

• Degree in relevant mechanical engineering field would be preferred
