I am looking for a mechanical project engineer to work on a large commercial project in central London. The role will be permanent and for the right project engineer very rewarding, the business values it's staff and have a number of incentives in place for high performing project engineer.

The company:
Large well known M&E subcontractor with commercial projects across the UK and Northern Europe. They operate exclusively within the commercial sector focusing on large pharma, industrial and data centre projects.

The Role:
* Design and coordination of mechanical building services.

* Management of the Design Process from Concept through to Construction stage

* Procurement of Mechanical Plant and equipment

* Preparation of reports and front end studies

* Detail Design of Mechanical Building Services

* Coordination of Mechanical Services with other trades

* Working with Quality Control Systems

* Execution of Design Reviews

* Liaison with and management of specialist mechanical subcontractors

You need to be:
* A degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

* 8 years previous experience mechanical / building construction

* Experience in Commercial Office and Education sectors

* Hevacomp & Autocad experience

* Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines

* Strong Technical Skills include problem solving and solid understanding of commissioning of mechanical systems

* Offsite prefabrication management experience a strong advantage

* Self motivating, and the ability to work well as part of a team

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Strong operational skills and an attention to detail

* Ability to work under pressure and work with our clients to deliver high quality projects
