The Role

A fantastic opportunity has risen to join a leading chemicals manufacturer as Operations Manager at a time of continued growth and development where you will be responsible for making sure the day to day operations of the site run smoothly. You will manage a team of 25 and have the opportunity to make an impact on this business.

The Person

• Ideal candidates will have experience of managing day to day operations of a site (production/ warehousing)

• This person must have experience working in a manufacturing environment however.

• Experience of leadership within a fast paced and high performance environment

• the ability to drive change and standards of excellence through your team is key, as is the ability to implement change and motivate the team to look at the bigger picture.

• You will utilize good reporting skills, lean manufacturing and six sigma experience, quality and continuous improvement processes.
