The Role

Reporting to the Site Director, the Operations Manager will have full autonomy of skilled team across the Warehouse and Productions Operations. You take full budgetary control for the function and will be tasked with the following key duties;

• Ensures Company standards for product, quality, safety, environment, and people are met
• Manage maintenance of the site, including buildings.
• Manage all waste cost-effectively
• Manage budgets for repairs and renewals, energy, waste and contractors.
• Cross functional liaison with technical department (R&D) Manager as required.
• Ensures ISO quality standards are met working closely with SHEQ Manager
• As Operations Manager, Implement and drive process improvement programmes as required.

The Person

The ideal Operations Manager will be career and have the following experience.

• Essential you have Production/ operations management expereince gained within a manufacturing environment
• Competent systems/ IT user
• Strong Analytical skills, comfortable with numbers, data and systems
• Experienced with modern Lean manufacturing tools and techniques
• Strong communicator
• Ideally educated to degree level or above (not essential)
