I am currently looking to speak to Procurement Managers who are from an Engineering background who are looking for a new challenge in their career working for a true market leading mechanical & Electrical sub-contractor who are based in London.
The client is currently looking for a Procurement Manager to come in and hit the ground running implement change through their current Procurement team and procurement system.
The client:
The client is an award winning mechanical and electrical sub-contractor who are well known for their success on delivering projects over the commercial and rail sectors. During the pandemic last year this client turned over £500M and they're forecast to surpass this figure in 2022.
The client is a strong believer in promoting from within and as such, the career progression for the successful applicant is structured and clear.
Job Role:
Negotiate clear, robust and favourable terms and conditions.
Identify the most appropriate supply chain plan for each part of the project.
Ensure that documentation is maintained, recorded and stored for audit purposes.
Manage a detailed supply chain plan for each part of the project.
Creating and developing collaborative strategic supply chain relationships to ensure the project flows are streamlined.
Personal specification:
The successful candidate will be forward thinking.
Understand different procurement systems.
Be able to drive the client's procurement process throughout the wider team.
Experience managing procurement teams.
Engineering sector experience.
Degree educated or equivalent.
Able to negotiate and converse with clients on a professional level.
