THE ROLE:

In this challenging and diverse role, the Production Planner will be working together with the wider Supply Chain team in constantly improving the company's performance. When fully onboarded/ trained in the role, key duties will include;

• Ensure SAP ERP system is fully utilised, along with other management tools to achieve the best possible customer service
• Understand customer requirements and stock status to prioritize works orders according to business needs
• Plan day to day operation ensuring capacity is fully utilized
• Maintain MRP planning parameters
• Coordinate resource availability; direct employee work hours and location by work centre
• Maintains an excellent understanding of the operational capabilities of the business

THE PERSON:

The ideal Production Planner will be looking for a challenging role within an established organisation. Key criteria for consideration will include;

• 1 year+ Planning experience within a manufacturing/ engineering setting
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent IT ability and experience
• Outstanding organisational and communication skills
