The Role

The Programme manager will lead a cross functional team responsible for the management of multiple programmes and launches to the OEM. They will be responsible for:

  • Manage the Programme Launch Deliverables
  • Cradle to grave project management for launches
  • Costs, negotiations, budgeting including raising orders
  • Project budget, timing and profitability responsibility
  • Report project status internally and externally and conducts reviews
  • Monitor capital spend and approve
  • Manage programme review meetings
  • Manage suppliers & customers; feasibility reviews and feedback
  • Manage Engineering changes
  • 8D's process and provide Engineering solutions
  • Report key milestones
  • Report gateway deliverables
  • KPIs
  • Maintain all PM relevant data
  • Review lessons learned from previous/similar programmes
  • Support early launch production containment actions
  • Successful closure of Project

The Person


  • 5 years project mgr experience in Automotive
  • RASIC Gateway
  • Budget Planning, Cost Tracking experience
  • Ability to interrogate dimensional data incl knowledge of CRT, SC and CTQ elements.
  • Direct experience of APQP, PPAP, PSW (including Control Plans, PFMEA)
  • 8D Process, 5Y, Fishbone, Corrective action processes
  • Customer facing


  • Lean Manufacturing
  • Awareness of 5S disciplines
  • Multiple OEM management
  • University degree - ideally in engineering or business

The business are working with multiple OEMs currently and have a solid order book moving forward. They are great at internally developing their employees through training and promoting internally. The business is looking for a programme manager who can hit the ground running.
