The role will be based at their state of the art facility and will have superb opportunities for career progression and development.

The Role

In this diverse role, the Project manager will be focused on the Strategic planning and day-to-day task management of the Test and Prototyping function and team. Ideal candidates will be experienced in an electro-mechanical test environment. We are looking for a skilled leader who has a background of working with multi-disciplinary teams, confident and able to understand mechanical, software, hardware, and analysis technical detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead projects within Test and Prototyping function
• Ownership and direction of product and prototype creation and analysis
• Overall management of a development facility
• Identify new and alternative technologies that can improve accuracy, efficiency and quality of prototype and test development
• As Project Manager, provide technical leadership for prototyping and test selection equipment design and test methodology

The Person

The company would like to bring in a career drive an enthusiastic Project Manager to complement the existing senior leadership team. Key criteria for the role will be as follows;

• Qualified to HNC level or above in relevant engineering discipline (mechanical or electrical bias)
• Ideally have working knowledge of tools like tools like: LabVIEW, Creo, Ansys
• Exposure to working with test and validation teams/ processes
• Does not need to have worked in management but can demonstrate strong stakeholder engagement/ leadership qualities
• Excellent communicator
