We are partnered exclusively with a truly global Manufacturer who are recruiting for a dynamic and career driven Project Engineer to join their team at their state of the art facility in Liverpool. To support a large volume of on going projects, they have created this fantastic new role. Its a truly stand out opportunity for any engineer looking to further their professional development!

THE ROLE:

As Project engineer, you will support and lead projects on the manufacturing and facilities side of the business. The role is intended to primarily focus on improvements and projects raising site performance and sustainability linked to facilities. The role will be analysing loss data in key areas and raising plans to improve performance, potentially through CAPEX investment, inviting cross functional support and liaising with external contractors, to deliver these performance improvements and projects.

  • Analyse and translate Safety and Quality risks to contribute and input on action plan(s). Co-ordinate the specific improvement projects/programmes

  • Deliver results per improvement/projects targets, in line with facilities.

  • Create project justification documentation and drive through process on site to deliver.

  • Motivate and engage with cross functional operation teams

THE PERSON:

The ideal Project Engineer will be looking for a challenging role within an established organisation and fit the key criteria.

  • Exposure to working on & leading Plant improvement projects within manufacturing environments.

  • Electrical engineering background would be ideal

  • Background working on projects linked to Capex/ steam boilers, hot water boilers, HVAC equipment, Water treatment facility, DHW and LPHW systems

  • Competent IT user

  • Educated to HNC level or above (or equivalent) or apprentice trained in relevant engineering discipline
