North West - Warrington / Manchester / Liverpool (Greater Manchester / Lancashire)

Package: £34,000 - £38,000 + Company Car Allowance

We are looking for a Project Manager to head up after service support for a high value customer base. Project value will range between £2,000 and £500,000 both domestically and in Europe.

Day to day you will be handling technical customer issues relating to Engineering, servicing the account base with technical updates and site installation projects - Reviewing timescales / budgets and equipment specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for the implementation, scheduling, monitoring and commercial performance of existing and new maintenance contracts.

  • Regular contact with Service departments to monitor global trends

  • Planning and scheduling of spares quotations for overhauls and machine upgrades

  • Planning and scheduling of change parts quotations and any other conversion work

  • Regular visits to our major customers in the UK and Ireland

  • Regular contact and liaison with our Spares Department

  • Manage multiple projects from enquiry to customer handover

  • Maintain and build strong relationships with internal & external customers

  • Operate functions across SAP and keep records up to date

The Person: Skills & Experience Required:

  • Have a good understanding of mechanical & electrical drawings/schematics inc. hydraulic and pneumatic

  • Have a good understanding of CDM & Health and Safety legislation

  • Manage all financial aspects of projects including quotes, creation and handling of PO's, project budget trackers, final costing reviews and chasing of customer payments

  • Support teams of engineers on projects via telephone and email whilst they are on-site

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Engineering Related Degree or a minimum of a HND / HNC

  • Experience in key account management in a similar role
