Are you looking for another PQS opportunity?

I am currently looking to speak to Project Quantity Surveyors who are currently open to new opportunities working on commercial rail projects in North London.

The Client:

The client which I am currently representing is looking to add to their commercial team by bringing in an M&E PQS who has experience working rail projects under the NEC option 3 & 4 contracts.

This client is rapidly becoming a market leader within the M&E Rail sectors and are currently turning over around £100M per year. Due to this success, they have recently won more work and are looking to add to their commercial team.

This company is privately owned and can offer excellent salaries and career progression to their successful applicant as well and working on some really exciting projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer the NEC 4 Option A in full and in the timescales required.

  • Validate the budget to build with input from other team members.

  • Price submit and agree quotations for compensation events.

  • Ensure positive cash flow on the project.

  • Manage all sub-subcontracts

  • Produce detailed cost & sale report monthly.

  • Regularly update costed risk & opportunity schedule.

  • Update revenue and cash flow forecast monthly.

  • Assist with production of impact programmes and ensure they are submitted with each quotation.

  • Manage and update the earned value analysis labour schedule

  • Meet with and maintain good professional relations with the clients QS.

Experience:

  • 3-5 years working as at a Project QS level with clear career progression shown.

  • Has managed contracts under NEC 3 or NEC 4 Option A

  • Has delivered projects from start to final account.

Must have:

  • Degree qualification in quantity surveying.

  • Tier 2 M&E Subcontractor experience.

  • Capability to measure and price Mechanical, Electrical, Fire & Comms systems independently.
