I am currently looking to speak to Mechanical and Electrical Quantity Surveyors who open to new opportunities working for a Mechanical and Electrical sub-contractor who have recently won a new project which is based in London.

This client is new to the London market and have won a £12m commercial fit-out project which will be site based in London. The client is a medium sized sub-contractor who are currently turning over around the £55M mark.

This opportunity is fantastic for anyone who is looking for a permanent role which can offer career progression as the company grows as they have exciting plans for the next 3-5 years.

Job Role:

• Assisting with VO's

• Monitoring of change with the scope of works

• Preparing and issuing of contract documents through the supply chain.

• Liaise with the client, main contractor and other departments.

• Provide fast, accurate, competitive and profitable estimates.

• Produce accurate monthly reports and attend financial and project review meetings as required.

• Assist with mentoring more junior members of the team.

Personal Specification:

• Degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Quantity Surveying.

• Excellent knowledge of both Mechanical and Electrical Quantity Surveying.

• 5-10 years' experience.

• JCT D&B contract experience.

• Strong communication skills and being able to communicate and negotiate with clients on a professional level.

• Pro active.

• Commercial experience.

• Experience with take-off's.
