Job Title: Python Developer

Contract: 6 months (long term demand)

Location: Remote

Rate: £400 per day, outside IR35

I am working with an engineering organisation who specialise in the detection, identification and geolocation of RF signals. My client is looking for a Senior Applications Developer specialising in Python and Django to join their team. Their role will be to deliver high-quality software products to our customers.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the development of high-quality application software, including but not limited to:

• Develop all aspects of the full software development life cycle including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, documentation and training.

• Create functional designs, specifications and costings to be presented internally or to the customer for approval.

• Contribute at senior level programme to deliver high quality software applications.

• Ensure that software is rigorously tested, including regression testing, prior to release.

• Support creation of user documentation, as required.

Key skills & Requirements:

• 5+ years using Django

• 5+ years using Python

• Javascript

• Ideally some experience with Data Processing/Data Handling experience

• Mission Manager experience is preferred

• Degree level educated

• Excellent communication skills
