Quality & CI Manager

£40,000 - £45,000 + Benefits

My client is an SME plastics manufacturer, based in South Yorkshire. They are part of a global group and are on the lookout for someone who is ambitious and driven to join the team as a Quality & CI Manage manager.


Reporting to the Operations Manager, some of the key responsibilities for the Quality & CI Manager include:

  • Manage & improve the QMS to help deliver 100% good products all the time

  • The Quality & CI Manager will need to develop standard work, audit processes, standard procedures, test methods, and process controls

  • Ensure all complaints are root caused and fixed on time

  • Manage relationship with customers regarding quality

  • Create or update record document templates

  • Ensure adherence to global standards

  • Prepare plant for external audits

  • Carry internal audits

  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement


The ideal Quality & CI Manager will be looking for the next step in their career and be driven by process improvement.

Essentials for the successful the Quality & CI Manager are:

  • Degree / HND in a technical / engineering subject

  • 3-5 years' work experience in a quality management role

  • Lean Six Sigma Green / Black Belt

  • Experience in process & continuous improvement

  • Experience in an FMCG / Plastics / Automotive manufacturing

  • Experience in implementation and management of ISO9001 standards
