THE ROLE:

The successful Quality CI Blackbelt will be required to Identify, Facilitate and implement process improvement in a controlled and structured way using modern and Lean manufacturing methods to improve processes.

  • You will contribute to the implementation of the Quality Continuous Improvement Strategy working with a range of business improvement tools and techniques.

  • You'll play a leading role in the site non conformance review (NCR/RCA) process to ensure root causes of issues are found and corrective actions are being implemented.

  • Providing appropriate management information in the form of reports and statistics relating to the Quality Continuous Improvement Strategy

  • Use of lean tools to run improvement projects using a structured approach with clear targets, project plans and KPIs.

  • Responsible for leading projects in order to reduce spoil throughout the Supply Chain

  • Ensures product quality. Establishes and manages systems for "right first time" performance and incorporates this philosophy throughout the projects being implemented.

  • To set up best practice for ways of working, systems and processes such as SOPs, change control.

  • Identify key opportunities for improvement going forward

THE PERSON:

The requirements for the successful Quality CI Blackbelt candidate are as follows:

  • Experience in a fast paced manufacturing background - FMCG / Automotive / Packaging / Print

  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with a successful track record of implementing Black Belt projects within the manufacturing industry.

  • Extensive experience working in Process Improvement.

  • Experience of using Minitab and analysing/interpreting data

  • Experience in the practical application of Lean Manufacturing and a wide range of Lean Tools

  • Knowledge and understanding of Advanced Product Quality Planning - desirable

  • Working Knowledge of Six sigma, Kaizen and SPC - essential
