Quality Engineer / Quality Assurance Engineer

£35,000 - £45 000 based on experience

We are currently partnered with a global tier 1 automotive supplier that is on the lookout for an experienced Quality Engineer to join their team.

The site is well placed within the North West and is commutable from Liverpool, Warrington, Wigan & Manchester.

The Role:

• Ensure that the quality of all products produced is of the highest standard and ensure for every incident the right tools are applied

• Update and follow the quality production indicators

• Takes part through the quality technicians in regular process audits and 5s audits

• Ensure controls are rigorously respected and escalate in event of non-compliance

• Participates in regular part rejections analysis with the customer for 0km and Warranty

The Candidate

• Ideally prior experience in the Automotive industry (Open to quality professionals from Aerospace too)

• Expert knowledge of IATF

• Proactive Quality Assurance Experience in recent roles

• Experience with core tolls - APQP, PPAP, FMEA, PFMEAs and 8D preferred

• Good with Excel (SAP would be a bonus but not esspential)

• Ideally Degree qualified
