Aerospace - Quality Engineer
Contract Rate - Negotiable based on exp.
12 Month Contract
Reporting to the Quality Manager you will be part of a team ensuring the success of the manufacturing operation. The candidate will be responsible for quality checks and putting solutions into action to reduce NCRs and defects to a minimum.
Management and deployment of the company's Quality Management System.
Analyse and solve internal technical problems, providing solutions to be implemented.
Reducing the quality costs while identifying the non-conformities and launching actions to mitigate them.
Responsible for internal and external audit requirements.
Responsible for Quality Assurance for suppliers and customers.
Responsible for Aerospace Standards & Regulations.
Based in the North West, the ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
Working knowledge of AS9100 Rev D standards.
5+ years experience within aerospace quality manufacturing role.
Experience writing FAIRs
Experience using problem solving tools to eliminate problems and reduce costs
Experience in performing internal quality audits.
Ability to understanding technical engineering drawings.
