QUALITY INSPECTOR

GLOBAL FMCG BUSINESS

£30,000+ BONUS & excellent benefits

Excellent new opportunity for a Quality inspector to join a leading FMCG business as a key member of their Quality & compliance team. The opportunity will have excellent prospects for career development and progression!

The Role

The Quality Inspector will work closely with the Quality & Compliance manager in the management and development of customer specific quality procedures. Key areas of focus for the Quality inspector will include;

  • Expected to produce accurate information and reports for Customers on complaint issues and trends.
  • To manage and develop the Supplier Scorecard programme and support the internal & external audit programmes.
  • Demonstrate expertise and understanding of the requirements of product specifications and associated documents that ensure product compliance.
  • Developing / Improving processes to drive continuous improvement and assist in the maintenance and development of the sites ISO 9001 & 14001 certifications.

The Person

The ideal Quality Inspector will need to have strong communication skills and be comfortable working within a high performing team.

  • 2 years+ experience Quality inspector or engineering based role
  • Recent experience carrying out a Quality based role within an FMCG/ manufacturing working environment
  • Understanding of standards Quality Tools and working to ISO 9001/ 14001 standards
  • Ability to with other functions e.g. Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales and Customers.
  • Good verbal and written and IT skills
