One of our most well respected clients and a key player in their field is looking to recruit a Quality Manager for their site in Birmingham. This is a business who fully invest in their employees and will support them as much as possible by funding further education and training courses.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Quality Manager will be responsible for:
Managing customer audits, internal audits, BRC audits, ISO 9001/14001 audits and Ethical audits
Ensuring that the required accreditations are upheld; BRC, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
Recognizing and championing any action required to meet new legislation or new customer requirements
Facilitating continuous improvement on site
Facilitating new product development on site
Ensuring all relevant factory records are collated, logged and retained where required
Reduction of customer complaints through analysis and robust follow up actions in conjunction with the relevant departmental managers
The ideal Quality Manager will be looking for the next step in their career and be looking at the long term goal of progressing to a multi-site position.
Degree in a technical discipline / HND - ESSENTIAL
Experience managing a Quality Management system
10 + years' experience as a Quality Manager
Experience in automotive / high volume, fast paced environment
ISO 9001 experience
Six Sigma / Lean Manufacturing skills
