Quality & CI Manager

Warrington / Bolton / Manchester / Blackburn / Wigan

£50,000 - £60,000 + Pension + Benefits

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the successful Quality Manager will be responsible for implementing quality procedures and maintaining their ISO 9001 (2015) standard. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Reviewing customer requirements and making sure they are met.

  • Ensuring the manufacturing and production of products are in compliance with UK and EU regulations

  • Reduce customer complaints

  • Maintaining high quality standards

  • Documenting validating tests and maintaining controls

  • Ensuring the company's quality procedures standards and specifications are thorough throughout all levels of the team.

  • Ensuring and maintaining compliance with company accreditations: ISO 9001


The requirements for the successful candidate are as follows:

  • A proven quality manager within a fast paced manufacturing background - FMCG / Automotive / Packaging / Food

  • Motivated personality

  • A fast thinking problem solver with the ability to make key decisions

  • Degree qualified in a manufacturing/engineering or quality discipline - desirable

  • Six Sigma Black belt - desirable

  • Six Sigma Certified - essential

  • Lead Auditor (External and Internal)

  • Working Knowledge of Six sigma, Kaizen and SPC - essential
