I am currently working with a main contractor who are currently looking to add a new Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a freelance basis in Warrington.

This client is well known for their successful delivery on fast paced retail fit out projects all over the country. Their offices are based in Warrington and are currently turning over around £50M. The client operates across a range of different areas:

• Principal Contracting

• Fit out

• Distribution Fit out

• Manufacturing

• Design

The successful applicant will ideally have experience working as a Quantity Surveyor on fast paced retail fit-out projects or has experience working on banks previously. There is a large volume of work to get through with very quick turnaround. This opportunity is ideal for anyone who likes a fast paced environment.

Personal Specification:

• Team management experience.

• Fit out experience.

• Food retail experience.

• Quantity Surveying Degree or equivalent.

• Strong communication skills.

• Proactive.

Job Role:

• Assisting with VO's.

• Monitoring of change with the scope of works.

• Preparing and issuing of contract documents through the supply chain.

• Liaise with the client, main contractor and other departments.

• Chasing down money which is owed.

• Produce accurate monthly reports and attend financial and project review meetings as required.
