Talent Attraction & Development Manager

The Role

Working with our Directors and Head of Organisational Development, we have created a brand new opportunity a focus of Talent Attraction/Internal Recruitment and Sales Training/Coaching/Learning & Development (L&D).

The role will initially be Sales Training Manager / Learning and Development Manager geared towards using your recruitment know-how to deliver engaging training sessions and performance coaching, before gradually working on developing our Talent Attraction strategy and managing our Internal Recruitment processes.

For the L&D Manager side of the role, you will have the full support of our award-winning Head of Organisational Development. With the design and content of the training programmes already in place, you will have an opportunity to shape the delivery of these sessions and put your stamp on how we develop trainees and consultants within the business.

On the Talent Attraction and Internal Recruiter side of the role, with the support of one of our Directors and the assistance of a Resourcer, you will be responsible for our Talent Attraction strategy, as well as taking responsibility for managing the internal recruitment process for the business. With a great structure already in place, there is plenty of opportunity for you to bring fresh ideas to the table.

Duties

Talent Development/Learning & Development Manager / Training Manager

  • Schedule and deliver structured sales training and coaching programmes (structure and materials already in place)

  • Support staff with training actions/implementation of learning at desk

  • Respond to adhoc coaching needs across the business

  • Work with and feedback to managers on staff performance and how to support and embed learning

Talent Attraction/Internal Recruitment/ In-house Recruiter

  • Improve and develop our talent attraction strategy

  • Maintain and develop a pool of active and passive candidates

  • Management of advert response through job boards and Linked In

  • Proactively approach experienced talent within the market

  • Recruitment process management including arranging interviews, candidate/hiring manager prep and feedback, liaising with rec2recs, offer management


The Person

A strong billing background in agency recruitment possibly Senior Recruiter, Principal Recruiter or Recruitment Manager!

Ideally, you will have experience of working both contract and perm desks successfully and be able to demonstrate this success in the form of billings/terms of business won.

You must also have excellent communication skills and be a natural "entertainer"- your enthusiasm should engage even the most miserable recruiter in order to lead effective sessions and embed a culture of learning and improvement.
