This Tier 1 Manufacturer has a need for an experienced Aerospace Sales Manager. Directly reporting into the Managing Director, the role is heavily focused around business development, but the right candidate will still need to be a proven 'hunter' and 'farmer'.
Maintain the existing key customers and increase orders where possible
Develop and secure new orders from existing UK and European Customer
Further develop existing Key Customer relationships / business while promoting the Company
Establish and maintain a regular visit schedule, with existing and new Customers
Gather key market intelligence, including Customer budget / spend and Program involvement, in order to develop into new tactical opportunities / RFQ's that may lead to new orders in support of our profit plans and forecast
Active participation in the commercial process at pre-bid review stage where applicable
Involvement with Estimating Team as appropriate during development of bid
Support and attend internal BD meetings as appropriate to discuss opportunities, progress and future direction
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with a proven track record working across the Aerospace industry.
Candidates without direct experience working in aerospace manufacturing and supply unfortunately cannot be considered for this role.

Able to read customer drawings and understand technical concepts
