Key Responsibilities:

  1. Cost Estimation and Analysis:

    • Lead the development of accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects from inception to completion.
    • Conduct thorough cost analyses, providing insights to support decision-making processes.
  2. Budget Management:

    • Collaborate with project teams to establish and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project goals.
    • Monitor and control project costs throughout the lifecycle, identifying and addressing budget variances.
  3. Client Engagement:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor on cost-related matters.
    • Provide regular updates and reports to clients on project cost status and financial forecasts.
  4. Risk Management:

    • Identify and assess potential risks related to project costs, developing strategies to mitigate financial impacts.
    • Contribute to the development of contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges.
  5. Team Leadership:

    • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior cost management professionals.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in cost management for construction projects.
  • Proven track record in leading cost management efforts on complex and large-scale projects.
  • Strong proficiency in cost estimation software and financial modeling.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Danish is advantageous.
  • Right to work in Denmark is essential
