My client is an industry leading manufacturing Organization and as a result has growing demands for their award-winning range of diesel, electric and the exciting new Hydrogen engine development programmes.
This Design Engineer role will suit an individual looking for an opportunity to develop their career within a fast-paced organization at the cutting edge of off highway vehicle design and development!

Base criteria for the role…
✅ 2 years+ relevant industry experience
✅ Have a degree in an associated mechanical engineering discipline, with a sound
understanding of Mechanical Engineering principles (showing an attention to detail, and being data driven).

✅ Have an appreciation for powertrain system / architecture.
✅ Be competent with systems and procedures of the department e.g. CAD / SOPs

✅ A self-starter who takes personal pride in all work from start to finish
✅ I if you have this experience from the bus or automotive industry - even better!
✅ Relationship building will come easily to you - across all levels of seniority internally and externally - along with good people management and leadership skills
✅ Have an active interest in vehicle-based technologies and developments, and a detailed understanding of vehicle design
✅ System design, development, and requirements capture experience
✅ Driven, curious, with a positive attitude and a can-do approach to problem solving.
