A position for a Senior Electronics Engineer in Manchester has become available. This position is to support the Manchester organization and is key to the development of the business.

The Role:

This role with our company will provide the opportunity to work with one of Manchester's largest Electronics business'. As a Senior Electronics Engineer you will play a massive part in planning, building and installing a wide range of electronic test equipment. This will also involve supporting various teams and existing equipment and maintaining the production of it. The ideal candidate will have an excellent understanding of electronic systems and be a strong team member.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design electronic and functional test equipment
• Provide technical support to customers and existing team members
• Support off-site testing equipment
• Encourage improvement of product testing
• Mechanical and enclosure design, both basic and advanced
• Provide direction for the investigation of manufacturing problems with test equipment
• Provide test verification
• Inform business of test failure and the root causes

The Person:

• Excellent IT skills and experience using office tools
• Willing to learn and investigate new techniques
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Project management skills
• Leadership skills
• Basic experience in mechanical fitting
• 5+ years in electronics in a manufacturing environment
• Electronics Engineering Degree or relevant experience
• Experience in circuit design
• Highly motivated and the ability to work as part of a team
• Coding skills
