Senior M&E Planner
I currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Planner to join the project controls team of an Industry leading Building Services Contractor to work on tender & live projects ranging from £10 million to £60 million. The right person will be responsible for all planners and assistant planners within the Manchester.
The Company specialise in the design and installation of building services and infrastructure solutions. They deliver bespoke, design-led cost efficient solutions optimised for the whole construction team, by maximising off-site manufacture in their own production facility. By having this facility they can deliver solutions which minimise onsite resources and interfaces assuring quality and customer satisfaction in a measurable, safe way every time.
The Role Includes:
Work with the site team and main contractor to ensure the projects have fully integrated programmes sequenced in the correct manner to allow the successful completion of the project.
Thoroughly study specifications, drawings and relevant contract documents/ correspondence in conjunction with engineers and surveyors to ensure adequacy of the planning and programming of projects.
Carry out regular reporting on projects to allow the site team to understand the programme position in relation to progress.
Liaise with the project team to ensure progress reports, progress percentages and drop down programmes, are produced and issued in accordance with company procedures and project requirements to allow proper management and commercial protection to be achieved.
The Ideal Candidate:
I am looking for a qualified Senior Planner with experience of working on M&E projects across a diverse range of sectors and have an advanced level in Asta Power Project.
To be successful in this role you will be an effective communicator at all levels to develop and maintain good working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, as well as promote best practice.
