Are you looking to work on exciting commercial projects for one of the UK's leading mechanical and electrical sub-contractors?

I am currently looking to speak with senior mechanical and electrical quantity surveyors who are open to new opportunities working for one of the UK's leading M&E sub-contractors on exciting and fast paced commercial projects in Plymouth.

The client:

The client that I am currently representing is looking for a senior mechanical and electrical quantity surveyor on a permanent basis to join their commercial team due to their continued success within the M&E commercial sector.

The client is a multi-award winning mechanical and electrical sub-contractor who are currently turning over £300M per year. They specialise within the commercial and rail sectors.

The client is a large M&E sub contractor and pride themselves on their family feel culture and look to promote from within.

Job Role:

• Assisting with VO's

• Monitoring of change with the scope of works

• Preparing and issuing of contract documents through the supply chain.

• Liaise with the client, main contractor and other departments.

• Provide fast, accurate, competitive and profitable estimates.

• Produce accurate monthly reports and attend financial and project review meetings as required.

• Assist with mentoring more junior members of the team.

Personal Specification:

• Degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Quantity Surveying.

• Excellent knowledge of both Mechanical and Electrical Quantity Surveying.

• NEC contract experience.

• Strong communication skills and being able to communicate and negotiate with clients on a professional level.

• Pro active

• Commercial experience
