I am currently looking to speak to Senior M&E QS who are open to new opportunities working for large tier one M&E sub-contractors within Birmingham or M&E QS who are looking to make the step into a senior role.

The client

The client which I am currently representing is a market leading M&E sub contractor who are a major player within the Birmingham M&E market. They were recently voted in the top 30 UK construction companies to work for and managed to turn over around £250M per year. Due to their success in the market, this client has a full order book moving into 2021 and 2022 & are looking to grow their commercial team by adding a Senior M&E QS.

Job Role:

• Monitoring change in our scope of work and price changes.

• Liaising with the client and different departments.

• Review and understand of project contract documentation.

• Preparation and issuing of contract documentation to their supply chain.

• Provide fast, accurate, competitive and profitable estimates

• Managing and forecasting of project cash flow

• Issuing of contractual notices and evaluate loss and expense/acceleration claims

Personal specification:

• Degree qualified or equivalent within the Mechanical & Electrical industry.

• 2years' experience quantity surveying in a Senior M&E QS role.

• A wide understanding of mechanical and/or electrical work packages.

• Strong communication skills.

• NEC & JCT contract experience

• Health Care projects experience (desirable)
