Are you looking for a Senior M&E Quantity Surveying opportunity working on exciting commercial projects in West London?

I am currently working with a market leading Mechanical & Electrical sub-contractor who is currently looking for Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis to join their commercial team and run a commercial project in West London.

The client is currently turning over £200M and are known for successfully delivering projects across the following sectors:

  • Commercial

  • Mixed Use

  • Data Centres

  • Airports

The successful candidate will be joining the business as a Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor and will be looking after commercial projects and also looking after an Airport project in West London.

The Senior M&E Quantity Surveyor will need to hit the ground running leading projects on their own and also allocating work to other junior members of their team.

Job Role:

  • Monitoring change in our scope of work and price changes.

  • Mentoring junior members of the team.

  • Liaising with the client and different departments.

  • Review and understand of project contract documentation.

  • Preparation and issuing of contract documentation to their supply chain.

  • Provide fast, accurate, competitive and profitable estimates

  • Managing and forecasting of project cash flow

  • Issuing of contractual notices and evaluate loss and expense/acceleration claims

Personal specification:

  • Degree qualified or equivalent within the industry.

  • Team Management experience.

  • 3-5 years' experience quantity surveying in a QS role.

  • A wide understanding of mechanical and/or electrical work packages.

  • Strong communication skills.
