Are you looking for a new Senior M&E QS position?

I am currently representing a client who is currently looking for an M&E Senior Quantity Surveyor to assist their team on large commercial projects with an estimated value of around the £20M mark.

This client currently has a full order book and has managed to secure work for the next couple of years in this challenging climate. They are looking for an M&E Senior Quantity Surveyor who can hit the ground running and get their teeth stuck into their current projects and also be ready for their new project.

The opportunity of the M&E Senior Quantity Surveyor position has occurred due to their current work demand and also a member of their team leaving the business.

Job Role:

• Assisting with VO's

• Monitoring of change with the scope of works

• Preparing and issuing of contract documents through the supply chain.

• Liaise with the client, main contractor and other departments.

• Provide fast, accurate, competitive and profitable estimates.

• Produce accurate monthly reports and attend financial and project review meetings as required.

Personal Specification:

• Degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Quantity Surveying.

• Four or five years' experience working as a M&E SQS

• Strong communication skills and being able to communicate and negotiate with clients on a professional level.

• Pro active

• Commercial & CAT A/ CAT B Fit out experience desirable.
