Are you looking for a new opportunity working on fit-out and Shell & Core projects?

I am currently looking for a senior quantity surveyor who has experience working on fast track fit-out and also shell & core projects working for M&E sub-contractors in London. This is a fantastic opportunity working for a large tier one M&E contractor who is cash rich a looking to bolster their commercial team due to a hugely successful 2020.

This opportunity will allow the successful applicant to be working on exciting fast track fit out and shell projects in the busy and fast paced centre of London.

The client:

The client is currently looking for an M&E senior quantity surveyor to come in and hit the ground running working on a new project on fit-out and shell & core in London. This position has become available due to new projects being won and also a current member of their team moving on.

This client is cash rich and a market leader turning over around £200M per year. Their current project which is due to kick off is worth around £15M.

Job Role:

• Assisting with VO's

• Monitoring of change with the scope of works

• Preparing and issuing of contract documents through the supply chain.

• Liaise with the client, main contractor and other departments.

• Provide fast, accurate, competitive and profitable estimates.

• Produce accurate monthly reports and attend financial and project review meetings as required.

Personal Specification:

• Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying.

• M&E sub-contractor experience

• Two or three year's experience working as a senior M&E quantity surveyor

• Strong communication skills and being able to communicate and negotiate with clients on a professional level.
