I am currently looking to speak to Mechanical & Electrical Quantity Surveyors who are looking to make the step into a more senior position or Senior M&E QS who are looking for a new opportunity.

The client which I am currently recruiting for is a market leading tier 1 sub-contractor who are well known for their success within the MEP commercial Fit-out sector. Due to this success, they have managed to secure a full order book for 2022 and already have work to get the successful candidate started right away. This client is currently turning over around £200M and with their 2022 order book, they are forecast for an even better year.

This client is currently working on a number of different projects to get the successful applicant started on right away such as:

• Educational Project

• Government Health Care

• Office Fit-out

• Data Centre Project

Job Role:

• Assisting with VO's

• Monitoring of change with the scope of works

• Preparing and issuing of contract documents through the supply chain.

• Liaise with the client, main contractor and other departments.

• Provide fast, accurate, competitive and profitable estimates.

• Produce accurate monthly reports and attend financial and project review meetings as required.

• Assist with mentoring more junior members of the team.

Personal Specification:

• Degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Quantity Surveying.

• Excellent knowledge of both Mechanical and Electrical Quantity Surveying.

• 5 years' experience working as an M&E QS looking for the next step or Senior M&E Quantity Surveying experience.

• JCT & NEC contract experience.

• Strong communication skills and being able to communicate and negotiate with clients on a professional level.

• Pro active

• Commercial experience
