I am currently working with a highly innovative engineering organisation who specialise in detection, identification and geolocation of radio frequency signals. My client is looking to expand and are looking for a Senior Python Developer with experience with Django to join their team. This is a permanent role with Hybrid / remote working arrangements.

The Person

The Senior Python Developer will be responsible for the development of high quality application software as well creating functional designs, specifications and costings to be presented internally or to the customer for approval. Other responsibilities include:

• Develop all aspects of the full software development life cycle including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, documentation and training.

• Contribute at senior level programme to deliver high quality software applications.

• Ensure that software is rigorously tested, including regression testing, prior to release.

• Support creation of user documentation, as required.

The Person

The ideal Senior Python Developer will have the following skills and experience

• 5+ years using Django

• 5+ years using Python

• Javascript

• Ideally some experience with Data Processing/Data Handling experience

• Mission Manager experience is preferred

• Degree level educated

• Excellent communication skills
