THE ROLE

• The Lead Software Engineer will be a valued member of the existing team and will provide and implement the full product life cycle, ensuring the business meets its innovative responsibility to customers and regulatory bodies. The key objectives as Lead Software Engineer will include;

• Apply innovative through to ensure the companies software design services maximum value to our customers

• Ensure software design output is in line with the company's standard operating procedures and relevant regulatory requirements

• Assist Technical Sales, Innovations and Applications Team to ensure that all proposals are technically viable through due diligence Ensure software design quality is maintained throughout the project by verifying in collaboration with the Controls Systems manager

• As Software Engineer, perform a proactive role in the commissioning and post installation activities at customer's sites.

• Ensure software design documents are issued in line with the schedule enabling agreed deliverables to be met

THE PERSON

The business is looking for an experienced and forward thinking Lead Software Engineer to help cultivate an innovative engineering team

• Strong Software engineering experience within Industrial automation led industries

• Proficient in the use of Siemens and Rockwell programming platforms

• Experience having full control and implementation of the product life cycle

• Ideally experienced in the software design of industrial automation in a manufacturing environment

• Experience in the validation processes
