Continental Shifts (12 hours shift 7-7 - 4 on 5 off, 5 on 4 off)

THE ROLE:

THIS IS A SHIFT BASED POSITION

  • To apply strong leadership, sound judgement, technical, process, continuous improvement and individual/team development skills to optimise performances within your management, whilst supporting the wider objectives of the site.

  • With your team deliver high standards of cleanliness and reliability of our production plant, machinery, equipment, and work areas. This is a fundamental requirement you will be required to continually work towards to enable the site to achieve our key objectives of Safety, Quality Cost and Service.

  • Ensuring that the team have the right skills, behaviour, development and support to be accountable for delivery of exceptional operational results and improvement for the department and the business as targeted.

  • Operationally you will have the confidence and ability to work autonomously, working with team members, internal and external customers/suppliers to deliver production plans.

THE PERSON:

Strong Desirable:

  • Degree (technical / chemistry / manufacturing degree)

Essential:

  • Minimum 3+ years experience in a Shift Managers position -with proven experience in delivering change mgt programme and Continuous improvement.

  • Vast Experience in FMCG: Food, Drinks, Pharmaceutical, Personal Care, Packaging

  • Drive and ambition to achieve in a world class environment and push for progression.

  • People management experience - delivery with and through people, training & developing and disciplinary.

  • Experience managing the metrics/ data

  • Strong leadership competencies
