Contract Embedded Software Engineer

Cornwall (Hybrid)

£45-50 per hour outside IR35

6 Month Contract

We are currently looking to recruit experienced Embedded Software Engineers who are eager to work in an innovative IoT environment. There new offices are based in Cornwall, however this role can be done fully remotely. Thinking outside the box is highly encouraged in this Embedded Software Engineer role!

THE ROLE:

The successful Embedded Software Engineer will be able to demonstrate developing code in C/C++, application development for a variety of uses on hardware, including ARM Cores.

KEY DUTIES/EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in the following languages C, C#, C++, QT/QML, Python, BASH.

• Commercial Embedded Linux Kernel experience

• Experience with Yocto

• Debugging

• Multi-threaded application development

THE PERSON:

The ideal Embedded Software Engineer will have the following skills and experience:

• Graduate in a software engineering related / computer science relevant degree

• Excellent decision making skills with an ability to solve complex issues

• Analytical skills with an ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral (fluent English)

• A strong understanding of Embedded Software Engineering
