Rail - M&E

Currently recruiting on behalf of a M&E Rail subcontractor for a freelance Tender Planner to join the Estimating and Planning team to help on tenders for multiple Rail Projects in London. The role will be based out of the Company's head office in Hemel Hempstead.

The Role

Working alongside the Head of Estimating;

  • Create and develop detailed tender programmes for bid submissions to potential clients

  • Create in line with NEC contract, P6 programmes using scope of works, project specifications, drawings and schematics

  • Develop the Mechanical and Electrical programme, ensuring that all key milestone dates are incorporated within the schedules and communicate these key dates to the team

  • Liaise with the Bid Manager, Engineering Managers, and Estimators to ensure accurate information is captured in the programme for client submission

  • Write programme methodology detailing the project overview, exclusions, constraints, key dependencies and full explanation of programme contents which is to be included as part of the bid submission to the client

The Person

  • You MUST have experience of working on M&E Projects

  • IDEALLY come from an engineering background

  • You MUST be an expert user of P6

  • IDEALLY have worked on Tenders previously but live Project experience will also be considered

  • Strong knowledge of NEC Contracts

  • You MUST come from a Rail background
