Test Lead / Permanent / Engineering / Basingstoke

We are currently looking for a Test Lead to join a brand new Systems division of a rapidly growing business in the Aldershot area (we ideally need engineers to commit to 40% work on site with the rest remote).

Responsibilities:

• Lead V&V test planning, execution and reporting.

• Define testing strategies by working with product development and other teams across the company.

• Develop detailed test plans per the specifications and execute test cases via a combination of automation or manual testing.

• Evaluate, select and develop test automation tools and frameworks applying latest techniques and processes.

• Ensures that all test developments follow a disciplined engineering process.

• Provides test forecasts and identifies test lab needs for future projects.

• Coordinating work activities with other Managers/Team Leaders.

• Managing and prioritising the daily activities of the team of laboratory technicians.

• Identifying and managing external suppliers of equipment and services as required.

Due to the nature of the role we require an engineer with the following experience:

• Substantial engineering experience (8+ years) and verification experience (4+ years) in a highly regulated industry

• Experience with MDD/MDR.

• In-depth understanding of Test Plans, Protocols, Reports and Design Transfer for ISO-9001

• Good understanding of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).

• Experience supporting systems engineering investigations.

• Breadth of understanding across other engineering domains, i.e. electrical, mechanical, software.
