Your Role:
As the MEP Lead, you will report directly to the Regional Director/Regional MEP Lead, responsible for the complete delivery of MEP systems across one or more high-profile projects. Your leadership will drive the successful execution of these systems, from design and installation through to commissioning and handover. Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead Project Delivery: Oversee MEP project teams, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.
  • Team Leadership: Inspire and guide your MEP teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability in achieving project goals.
  • MEP Systems Management: Ensure integration, commissioning, and compliance with statutory requirements, leading to seamless handover with full client satisfaction.
  • Strategic Guidance: Align the MEP strategy with the company's vision and business objectives, supporting overall project bids and procurement.
  • Resource Planning: Plan for key MEP resources to ensure smooth project execution, including temporary electrical requirements and energy assessments.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify and manage risks to project delivery, ensuring proactive solutions are in place to mitigate potential issues.
  • Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, consultants, and the supply chain to promote the company's brand and services.


Your Experience & Qualifications:

  • 10+ Years of Experience: Proven track record in leading large-scale MEP projects, particularly in the data centre sector.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of the MEP supply chain and market dynamics, with hands-on experience across all project phases, from pre-construction to handover.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate, mentor, and inspire MEP teams, driving high-performance and quality results.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong interpersonal and commercial skills, ensuring successful project delivery within budget and scope.
  • Health & Safety Focus: Knowledge of H&S policies, live energy practices, and a commitment to safe project execution.
  • Industry Qualifications: Mechanical or Electrical engineering degree or MEP-related technical qualifications. Membership with CIBSE, CIOB, IEI, or equivalent professional institutions preferred.
  • Certifications: IOSH or equivalent H&S management training. Live Energies/Arc Flash training is a plus.
