Case StudyA leading Aerospace organisation, having recently won a large fast jet modification project with a defence organisation, were looking to add to their Systems Safety team. They needed 2 Safety Engineers and a Principal Safety Engineer to lead the project. The client was under immense time pressure and required the engineers on-site within 4-6 weeks). A video meeting was arranged with the Head of Engineering to establish; a full brief, and collaboratively build their recruitment process. We proceeded on an exclusive basis within the agreed timelines. A recruitment project was built to include competitor analysis, salary benchmarking, a targeted headhunting campaign, extensive networking, and talent pipelining. A shortlist of 12 candidates was submitted, along with references and signed NDA's, 3 days ahead of deadline, 8 candidates were taken to 1st stage interview. Following much deliberation, 6 were invited back for a second interview with the Programme Director and senior engineering team. A detailed initial briefing, extensive headhunt campaign and refined interview format resulted in a seamless process with full confidentiality maintained. We helped build a financial offer that was attractive to the candidate and within the client’s budget.3 top performers from direct competitors accepted the offer, and 2 relocated prior to their start date.
