Task:
A large EPCM & General Contractor were looking to reinstate themselves as a major player in the Data Centre Construction & Engineering market throughout Europe. This started with two, hyperscale projects in the North of Netherlands, the requirement from this, was to source:
- Project Director
- Data Centre experienc
- Experience of the full project lifecycle from Pre-Con to Handover at Project Director level
Action:
We arranged a full consultation on the requirements of the position, through which we were able to advise on the most attractive parts of the role, and fleshed out the more difficult parts of the role to better suit the market.
Due to the highly-senior level of the position and our widely accessible network in the industry (built up over 5 years), we were able to take a discreet approach on this, mainly operating through referrals and direct approaches that leveraged a personal and “in-touch” method.
From this we were able to source a candidate that was perfect for the position, after two interviews, they were hired, and have been leading the projects (and more) for the past 2+ years.
