BIM Engineer

Location: Galway

Salary: €40000 - €50000

Start Date: Immediately

Core Talent are currently looking for a BIM Engineer to work in a permanent position which will comprise of an outstanding portfolio of projects which will continue for the next 5+years. This position is based in Galway, with a salary range of €40,000 - €50,000, and comes with an excellent benefits package with room for negotiations

This position is looking to assist in your career development of BIM by;

• Gaining knowledge of mechanical & electrical systems with regard to 3D coordination

• Developing knowledge of on-site coordination, fabrication and construction

• Attending coordination meetings and develop your communication skills

• Moving to a BIM Lead position when the opportunity arises and through agreement by the BIM Manager.

Roles & Responsibilities

Include but are not limited to;

• Responsible for delivering all 3D / 2D coordination milestones on each project

• Report to the BIM Lead

• Assist with other smaller projects when required

• Produce tender information

• Support the project team with all coordination deliverables

• Assist BIM Lead with 3D elements needed for design and coordination

• Support all working parties within the BIM process

• Work within a team environment

• Responsible for project delivery

• Detailing 3D elements needed for design and coordination

• Clash detection of submitted files and assist with resolutions on site

• Administration of Vault files

• Daily building of federated model

• Production of 2D coordination and installation drawings

• Production of 3D models files through Revit, and Fabrication CAD

• Verify and prepare layout drawings to meet contract requirements

• Site surveys and verification's

• Will have proven ability to lead a team

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Ability to work under pressure and to short deadlines

• The ability to achieve efficient project delivery

• Proficient knowledge and use of relevant software's

Essential Skills

• Minimum 3+years' experience with BIM / Coordination

• 3rd Level qualification in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Building Services Engineering or Strong Trades background with BIM qualification
